Jared Provost

Barber & Hair Stylist, Jared Provost first stepped into Steveston Barbers as a customer when he was 8 years old.  When he was 23,  he joined Steveston Barber Shop as one of their own barbers.  A native of Steveston, Jared grew up as an active member of the drama and sporting community.  After graduating from Steveston High, he went on to train at the International School of Hairdressing where he learned all aspects of hairstyling for men, women and kids.  Upon attaining his hairdressing licence (CABC), a family friend recommended Jared to Iain at Steveston Barbers.  Jarad jumped at the chance to perfect his barbering technique by working there full time and currently part-time.  Since then he has thoroughly enjoyed being part of the Steveston Barber brotherhood.

In his seven years working with the boys, he has developed a speciality in precisions cutting and in retro cuts; as well as making a point of staying current with the latest trends.  Jared is a natural born teacher and enjoys sharing his love of barbering with other and new upcoming barbers and stylists.  He believes in constant leaning and innovation, even in a craft as traditional as barbering.  Even though he takes this craft very seriously, his top priority is listening to what his customer wants and making sure he delivers a great haircut with a sense of humour, some good Steveston Barber banter and a smile.

Saturday 8am-4pm
